AAT Level 3 Accounting Course in Reading. Evening classes run at Kaplan Reading, part-time, so you can fit study around work. The course may be funded through a Government Apprenticeship. If that route does not apply to you, a payment plan may be available. This level 3 aat accounting course covers advanced bookkeeping, final accounts, cost accounting records, and ethical practices for accountants. You'll also work on financial processes and the preparation of reports and returns. The course runs over 8 days of classroom sessions. It builds directly on Level 2 AAT study and prepares you for roles in accounting and finance. AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Level 3, with certificate.

Who this course is for

Kaplan's Advanced Diploma in Accounting covers a range of complex accounting tasks, including maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns. You'll learn and master a number of accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants.

It is ideally suited for someone who has completed the Level 2 Foundation Certificate, someone who perhaps works in an accounts department at an intermediate level and wants to develop their accounting skills or someone who is looking to change their career. It is also an excellent A Level alternative.The Advanced Diploma is made up of 4 separately examinable units plus a synoptic assessment. Within the synoptic assessment you will be tested on two additional units, Ethics for Accounting and Spreadsheet for Accounting, as well as on the knowledge you've gained from the 4 underpinning units. You must have completed your studies for all separately examinable units before you attempt the synoptic assessment.

How you will learn

You'll study in a classroom at Kaplan Reading during evening sessions. Learning is delivered face-to-face over 8 days. Assessment for the AAT Level 3 qualification is through computer-based exams set and marked by AAT. Each unit has its own exam, which you sit when you're ready. There is no coursework portfolio at this level.
