Kaplan's Foundation Certificate in Accounting covers a range of basic accounting principles and techniques, from costing and double-entry bookkeeping to using accounting software.
It is ideally suited for someone who is new to accounting and finance, someone who perhaps works in an accounts department but wants to gain a qualification or enhance their foundation knowledge and skills or someone who is looking to change their career. Top five skills you'll gain:

How you will learn
Classes are classroom-based and run in the evening at Kaplan Hull. You'll learn through tutor-led sessions covering accounting theory and practical exercises. Assessment is through AAT's computer-based exams, which you sit at an approved test centre. Each unit is assessed separately, so you complete exams as you progress through the course.
