About the Role:
We are a friendly and dedicated home care provider seeking a compassionate and reliable Care/Support Worker to support a young person in the local area. This rewarding role focuses on helping them prepare for school and encouraging independence while accessing the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting morning and afternoon routines, including personal care, preparing for and picking up from school
- Encouraging independence and confidence-building
- Supporting access to community activities and social engagement
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive environment
About You:
- Caring, patient, and understanding nature
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Experience in care or supporting young people
- Ability to build a positive and trusting relationship
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
