Free Level 3 Music Performance and Production Course in Chatham. Classes run at MidKent College Medway Campus, full-time during the day.
You'll develop your playing through live band sessions, solo performances, and session musician work. The course also covers music theory, improvisation, composition, and arrangement using Logic Pro. You'll learn about marketing, promotion, and events in the music industry. Entry requires five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths. You'll also need to pass an audition on your primary instrument.
You'll finish with a Diploma in Music Performance and Production.

This highly practical course will give you the opportunity to improve your performance skills, with activities including live band and solo performances, composition and arrangement (using Cubase, Logic and Sibelius), improvisation and notation.
You will also learn about ear training, marketing, promotion and events. Performances and practical tasks are the main methods of assessment but you will need to complete some written assignments You will have the opportunity to perform in front of people in the theatre, live room and other external venues You will also be encouraged to attend live gigs and performances throughout the year This is a study programme which includes English, maths and work experience in addition to your main programme
