Who this course is for
Employers across York and North Yorkshire are looking for people with warehousing and forklift skills. This 12-week course helps you gain the qualifications they need and connects you to local job opportunities.
Entry requirements
Aged 19 or over (no upper age limit). Live in York and North Yorkshire (YNYCA area). Unemployed and receiving benefits; OR economically inactive (e.g. caring responsibilities or health reasons); OR employed but earning below £25,750 gross annually before deductions.. Income: Below £25,750 gross annually (if employed). Must have the right to work and study in the UK. Must commit to 12-week programme including online sessions, practical forklift training, and weekly coach support.

How you will learn

You'll be assessed through online tasks and written questions that test your understanding of warehousing principles. A dedicated Success Coach supports you throughout the programme.
