Free Level 2 Hair and Make-up Artistry Course in Manchester. Classes run at Harpurhey Campus, full-time during the day, over one year. You'll cover anatomy and physiology, health and safety, and the practical skills behind make-up application, hair preparation, fashion and editorial make-up, and face and body painting. Who this course is for

This qualification is based on the National Occupational Standards for Beauty Therapy and includes all the required elements for you to work effectively as a beauty therapist.

You’ll develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety as well as the knowledge, understanding and skills to plan for and provide make-up applications, hair preparation services, fashion and editorial make-up and face and body painting.

You’ll also develop your abilities to ensure continuity services are adhered to for make-up application and hair services, whilst working on your skills to produce a total look for competition work.

This qualification will also help you improve communication and customer service skills, awareness of environmental sustainability and commercial skills, all of which are valued highly by employers in the beauty sector.
