About this course

Free Level 2 Art and Design Course in Daventry. Classes run at Northampton College at Daventry, full-time during the day.

You'll explore drawing, printmaking, fine art, photography, painting, and 3D design. The course also covers time-based work, portfolio development, and contextual research. It runs over one year. Entry requirements

4 GCSEs Grade 3 incl. Art/Photography & portfolio showing ability to draw/develop ideas. This can include GCSE Art & work from home (if not taking GCSE Art - 4 GCSEs at 3 plus a portfolio as above). The level of course will be based on the quality of artwork.

You'll also develop literacy and numeracy skills through your project work. Assessment is continuous rather than through a final exam.

You may need to purchase a kit or uniform, and some trips may have a cost. Northampton College at Daventry will send details of specific items and costs in June or July before you enrol.
