About this course

Free Level 1 Music Performance and Production Course in London. Classes run at Big Creative Education, full-time over 35 weeks.

You'll study songwriting, vocal and rap performance, music theory, and stagecraft. The course covers performance techniques, music history, and music industry knowledge. You'll use professional studios, industry-standard software such as Logic Pro and Ableton Live, and perform at live events. Guest professionals deliver masterclasses and workshops throughout the year. You'll also complete a work experience placement.

You need at least 2 GCSEs or equivalent to apply. You'll finish with an Extended Certificate for Music Practitioners at Level 1.

Who this course is for

This course is aimed at young people interested in vocal performance, rapping and singing. It will give you the opportunity to develop your writing and performance skills with experienced industry professionals. You will be building on your own personal and social development, and work towards setting targets and achieving goals. Through the Music and Performance skills course you will be exploring and practicing important skills and techniques.
